Out and About

Ride Outs

The Waterman, Hatton, Warwick - Every Wednesday evening during the summer when the sun shines.

The landlord at The Waterman saved this pump clip from a beer called Good Cheer Beer. With the same letters as Geoff’s Classic Bikes we just had to have it... and a pint.

Cotswolds Classic Car & Bike Club - The Norman Knight, Whichford, Warwickshire. Held every third Thursday of the month from April to September.

2011 CBX UK Rally

This year's rally took place at The Cotton Arms, Wrenbury. We managed to win trophies for 'Best Special' and 'Best Paintwork' with the 'Storyteller' my CBX Turbo NOS.

It was also nice to see one of my previous CBX's now owned by Alan Thomas. This bike won 'Best Overall CBX' at the 2004 UK Rally. Still looking good!

Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show - Stafford 2007

The biggest classic motorcycle show in the world just gets bigger and better every year, especially when you come home with a prize.

Being presented with 2nd prize for best 1980's bike by Rod Gibson, Editor and Chief Technical Advisor for CMM. Now sadly deceased and sorely missed.

A very proud owner of a Honda CB1100R 'D' on the Honda CB1100R club stand. Well worth the trip to Italy to buy it. Even if I did forget the shoes!

Spa, Belgium 29th June-2nd July 2007

'Tartes' on Tour.

Nice shirts lads?!

Impressive line-up. You should hear this lot when they start up!

Beaulieu - 23rd and 24th June 2007

Finally made it onto the Historic Honda stand, despite the awful weather! The Prolink took hours of cleaning when we got home as the showground turned into a mud bath.

A few brave souls from the CB1100R club made it onto the stand.

Angie and Karen having a cuddle with Dave Myers (Hairy Biker chef). "He looks a happy chappy. What are you doing girls?"

Brollie dollies Angie and Karen with Graham Cosby. "He's a very nice man. He's a very very nice man.

Mallory Post TT - 10th June 2007

A few members of the CB1100R club turn up for the club's annual picnic, compliments of our Joy.

A few laps of the track. "Take it easy, it's a long walk home if I bin it!"

Macau - November 2006

Chance of a life-time! Riding in the parade lap of the Macau Motorbike Grand Prix 40th Anniversary alongside Ron Haslam, Mick Grant and Kevin Schwantz.

Rocket Ron signs my leathers.

What a line-up!

Ireland - North West 200

"Oh we do like to be beside the seaside"

Thanks to Ian Foster we were given special permission to ride the bikes down to the Giant's Causeway.

We did manage to see some racing while we were there...when rain didn't stop play.

CBX Rally 2004

East Kirby Aviation Heritage Centre, Lincolnshire in front of a Lancaster bomber.

The final project and a trophy, which I've been able to keep, for best bike overall.

CBX Euro Rally - Kent

Help! We got split from the pack and now we're lost!

The ride-out took us to Ogri's Cafe in Sussex eventually.

France

A CBX Special and a labour of love.
